Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment for excavation, transport, and material handling as trained.

• Perform pre-operational equipment inspections and monitor performance, checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, hydraulic lines, and other critical functions.

• Clean and maintain equipment and perform routine lifting and shoveling tasks.

• Assist co-workers with material transfer as needed.

• Maintain safety standards and contribute to a safe work environment.

• Work independently in isolated areas, when necessary, while adhering to established protocols.

Schedule:

• Primarily Monday through Friday.

• Day Shift: 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Night Shift: 2:30 PM - 2:30 AM (includes a $3/hr shift premium)

• Most holidays off; occasional weather-related downtime.

Education and Experience:      

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• No previous heavy equipment operating experience required—training will be provided.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Working Conditions:

Note: This position is for motivated individuals looking to develop skills in heavy equipment operation within a team-oriented and safety-focused environment. We are hiring for both day and night shifts, with transportation occurring between Belle Fourche, SD, and sites in Wyoming (WY) and Montana (MT).

This segment includes our High-Temperature Technologies and Environmental & Infrastructure product lines. Our High-Temperature Technologies product line offers specially-formulated blends and technologies primarily for Foundry and Steelmaking industries. Our Environmental & Infrastructure product line provides waterproofing, water purification, remediation and other fluid management technologies for critical projects for Remediation, Water Purification, and Infrastructure.
