Job Title: Fill Room Operator Technician - Team Lead

Location: Lafayette, LA

Compensation: $20.63-$25.03 depending on experience level

*This is considered a safety sensitive position, therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required. 

Job Summary:

The Filling Room Operator’s primary responsibility will be to participate in the day to day work necessary to keep our filling room on track to meet daily, weekly, and monthly delivery objectives.

In addition this person will be responsible for:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Feed bottles to filler
• Cap/torque closure system on bottles
• Lot code bottles
• Feed bottles to labeler
• Insert bottles into unit cartons
• Pack out unit cartons (or bulk bottles) into shippers
• Activities that support Filling Room production in coordination with other Operators as directed Examples include: Quality checks, restocking consumables, inventory tracking, training temporary employees, cleaning/sanitization of equipment and production area, etc
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean production area
• Complete training requirements as directed
• Complete projects as directed
• Operate under cGMP conditions
• Work independently and as a team with others

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to follow proper PPE protocols at all times and recommend changes as needed
• Basic Computer skills preferred
• Must be organized and complete paperwork in a timely manner
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and work independently
• Must be dedicated to work safely and enforce all safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and shift work including holidays and weekends
• Good verbal and written communication skills
