What We Offer:
Position: Operator Technician
Location: USA | Shell Rock, IA
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Bag out 50LB bags and Supersack bags
Load pneumatic trucks and van trailers
Operate an end loader
Run a coal milling system
Unload pneumatic and gravity railcars
Set up pneumatic railcars to be filled
Blend orders on a control panel
Manage/Monitor production processes- On control panel, update excel files and paperwork
Follow Standard Operating Procedures within the assigned work area.
Participate in continuous improvement activities with a focus on developing efficient processes.
Identify safety, quality or operational issues to the appropriate resources.
Maintain a clean work area and follow all 5S requirements.
Performs necessary quality assurance checks on production and shipping procedures.
Follows and enforces all company safety standards.
Pressure wash and paint plant equipment and buildings as needed.
Perform routine cleaning/housekeeping including- sweeping, mopping, dusting, taking out garbage.
Other duties as assigned.
OE/Lean
Actively participate/drive the implementation of sustainable improvement processes, such as 5S, Kaizen, Total Productive maintenance (TPM), Daily Management Control, Standard Work, and Problem Solving.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Self-Motivated/Driven to learn
Excellent time management.

Microsoft Office.
Operate control panels
End loader experience
Forklift experience
Ability to perform normal work activities, sight, hearing, and walking.
Ability to work with minimal guidance.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong involvement in Plant OE – 5S, Standard Work, TPM, etc.
Climbing flights of stairs and ladders.
Pushing brooms, shovels, etc.
Working at heights.
Working in the elements and temperatures from -20 to +100 degrees.
Standing or kneeling for extended periods of time.
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Using hand and power tools.
