Position: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: USA | Dover, Ohio
Job Summary
The Technician, Quality Assurance will be responsible for sampling, inspecting, testing and acceptance or rejections of finished products, raw materials and work in process. The Technician will also be responsible for the issuance of product adjustments to ensure all products meet requirements.
This is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Minimum of two years in a laboratory environment is required. Must have adequate computer skills and comfort in Microsoft Office programs. Mathematical calculation, estimation of optimum formula adjustments and impact. Performance of a wide range of laboratory test procedures. Development and implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and maintaining the QA system to ISO standards. Acceptance/rejection decisions, balancing of multiple priorities and confidentiality of product formulations.
Education: High school diploma required, some college is desirable with emphasis on advanced math and science.
Working Conditions: Day Shift. Various physical testing equipment, ovens, furnaces, balances, molds, personal computers. Continuous movement between laboratory (controlled environment); and plant which may have some areas of non-controlled environment. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in a plant environment, work in a safe manner, with excellent performance, attendance, and some OT.
Safety Equipment: Must wear all required safety gear.
